My wife

During the last four weeks my wife and me have fun in this city. I've took two weeks off and we had our second honey moon. As the proverb says: "there is no evil that lasts forever nor well that does not end". She have had to go back home. Bye sweet hart. I love you so much and I will miss you a lot! See you in December!

Durante as últimas quatro semanas minha esposa e eu nos divertimos nessa cidade. Eu tirei duas semanas de folga e nós tivemos nossa segunda lua de mel. Mas, como o provérbio diz: "Não há mal que sempre dure nem bem que não se acabe". Ela teve que voltar para casa. Tchau querida. Te amo muito e sentirei muito a tua falta. Te vejo em Dezembro!

Ararajuba - Guaruba guarouba

It's unlikely to find a Brazilian bird in Toronto. Most unlikely is to find an threatened endemic Brazilian bird! Well, I did find not one but two specimens of Ararajuba here.

É muito improvável encontrar uma ave brasileira em Toronto. Mais improvável ainda é encontrar uma ave endêmica brasileira ameaçada de extinção. Bem, eu enconrei não só um mas dois exemplares de Ararajuba aqui.

In the mother's hands

Last week my friend found a baby squirrel. If she wouldn't took care of it, Willow (the baby squirrel) would probably die. Now my friend is mother 24h a day. And she will keep being a mother in the next 2 or 3 weeks when Willow will join her new family in a rescue centre. In that centre they know what and how to do with this cute tiny little creature.

Na semana passada minha amiga encontrou um bebê esquilo. Se ela não tivesse cuidado dela, Willow (a bebê-esquilo) provavelmente teria morrido. Agora minha amiga é mãe 24h por dia. E continuará sendo mãe nas próximas 2 ou 3 semanas quando Willow se juntará a sua nova família em um centro de resgate. Lá eles sabem o que e como fazer com essa pequenininha e engraçadinha criatura.

The British Dancers

Those guys were dancing and having fun close to Front St. I asked one of them about this dance and he told me, in a very British accent: "It's a traditional British Dance and we are doing it around the city, for fun." Good idea. Having fun dancing!

Estes caras estavam dançando e se divertindo perto da rua Front. Perguntei para um deles sobre essa dança e ele me respondeu, em um sotaque britânico: "É uma dança tradicional britância e nós a estamos dançando pela cidade por diversão." Boa idéia. Divirtam-se dançando!

You can find at St Lawrence Market not only the farmer's market but also many handcrafted stuffs. And funny ones as those handkerchief holders.

St. Lawrence Market is a very popular market in Toronto with many products came from Ontario's farmers. Very busy inside and outside as you can see.

The Cathedral Church of St. James

The Cathedral Church of St. James stands in the heart of this busy and multicultural city. The visit worth it. The first photo is an outside view. The second and third one, from inside trough the stained glass windows.

A Igreja Catedral de St. James está localizada no coração dessa movimentada e multicultural cidade. A visita vale a pena. A primeira foto é uma visão de fora. A segunda e terceira são a partir do interior através dos vitrais.

I'm impressed that there are so many Ginkgo biloba trees in Toronto. You can see them almost everywhere. This one I shot close to St. Lawrence Market.

Estou impressionado que há muitas árvores Ginkgo biloba em Toronto. Você pode ve-las em quase todo lugar. Esta eu fotografei perto do mercado St. Lawrence.

Men in black

A group of men in black with sneakers. I guess all of them were guests from a wedding party. There were lots of brides at Distillery District in that day.

Um grupo de homens de preto com tênis. Eu acho que todos eram convidados de uma festa de casamento. Haviam muitas noivas no Distillery District naquele dia.

The shoe shaft

Shot at Distillery District. There was a kind of "shoe exposition" - many shoes hang out in a shaft. Pure art.

We've found this "vintage garden" in a florist at Distillery District. There is amazing stuffs! The visit worth.

Toronto Island Park and our Soccer Team

Today we visited Toronto Island Park. It's worth the visit! We have had an idea: to take a picture of us dressed up with our Inter soccer team t-shirts. The photo should be taken in a world known Toronto spot. So, here it is! Behind us, the CN Tower. This photo is a hommage to Cesar, my wife's son, a big Inter fan.

Hoje visitamos Toronto Island Park. A visita vale a pena! Nós tínhamos tido uma idéia: tirar uma foto nossa vestidos com as camisetas do nosso time de futebol, Inter. A foto deveria ser em um lugar de Toronto conhecido mundialmente. Então, eis ela aqui! Atrás de nós a CN Tower. Está foto é uma homenagem ao César, filho da minha esposa e um grande torcedor do Inter.
