St. Lawrence Market is a very popular market in Toronto with many products came from Ontario's farmers. Very busy inside and outside as you can see.

O St. Lawrence Market é um mercado muito popular em Toronto com muitos produtos vindos de fazendeiros de Ontario. Muita gente dentro e fora, como vocês podem ver.

The Cathedral Church of St. James

The Cathedral Church of St. James stands in the heart of this busy and multicultural city. The visit worth it. The first photo is an outside view. The second and third one, from inside trough the stained glass windows.

A Igreja Catedral de St. James está localizada no coração dessa movimentada e multicultural cidade. A visita vale a pena. A primeira foto é uma visão de fora. A segunda e terceira são a partir do interior através dos vitrais.

Ginkgo biloba

I'm impressed that there are so many Ginkgo biloba trees in Toronto. You can see them almost everywhere. This one I shot close to St. Lawrence Market.

Estou impressionado que há muitas árvores Ginkgo biloba em Toronto. Você pode ve-las em quase todo lugar. Esta eu fotografei perto do mercado St. Lawrence.

Men in black

A group of men in black with sneakers. I guess all of them were guests from a wedding party. There were lots of brides at Distillery District in that day.

Um grupo de homens de preto com tênis. Eu acho que todos eram convidados de uma festa de casamento. Haviam muitas noivas no Distillery District naquele dia.

The shoe shaft

Shot at Distillery District. There was a kind of "shoe exposition" - many shoes hang out in a shaft. Pure art.

We've found this "vintage garden" in a florist at Distillery District. There is amazing stuffs! The visit worth.

Busker Festival

Toronto Island Park and our Soccer Team

Today we visited Toronto Island Park. It's worth the visit! We have had an idea: to take a picture of us dressed up with our Inter soccer team t-shirts. The photo should be taken in a world known Toronto spot. So, here it is! Behind us, the CN Tower. This photo is a hommage to Cesar, my wife's son, a big Inter fan.

Hoje visitamos Toronto Island Park. A visita vale a pena! Nós tínhamos tido uma idéia: tirar uma foto nossa vestidos com as camisetas do nosso time de futebol, Inter. A foto deveria ser em um lugar de Toronto conhecido mundialmente. Então, eis ela aqui! Atrás de nós a CN Tower. Está foto é uma homenagem ao César, filho da minha esposa e um grande torcedor do Inter.

Colonel Samuel Smith Park

If you crave a scenic nature walk without the long drive out of the city, then you will find it at the Samuel Smith Park. Boasting a beautiful trail along a peninsula on Lake Ontario, the park is one of the best ways to enjoy the waterfront.

Sculptures around the city

You can find them almost in each corner. They are everywhere. And they are really beautiful. This gracious sculpture we did find in front of an art gallery at Yorkville St.

High Park

Today was our first visit to High Park. A very beautiful, spacious and calm place to take some time off. The visit worth it!

Village of Yorkville - the Ginkgo trees.

This place caught my attention not only by its beautifully designed shape but also by its tree species. All of them are Ginkgo biloba - one of the best-known examples of a living fossil. Amazing!

Este lugar chamou minha atenção não apenas pelo seu belo desenho mas principalmente pelas árvores. Todas são Ginkgo biloba - um dos mais bem conhecidos exemplos de fóssil vivo. Muito legal!

Red-tailed Hawk

This hawk I spotted at Queen's Park. I guess it's a red-tailed hawk (Buteo jamaicensis). I'm still not used to birds from Canada but the shape and overall characteristic from that bird fits pretty well to that species. Otherwise there is a great variation in the colour pattern in Buteo jamaicensis exception made to its red tailed.

Este gavão eu vi no Queen's Park. Eu acho que se trata de um gavião-de-cauda-vermelha (Buteo jamaicensis). Ainda não estou acostumado com as aves do Canadá mas a forma e as características gerais desse gavião se encaixam bem à especie. De qualquer maneira há uma grande variação no padrão de coloração em Buteo jamaicensis, exceto pela cauda vermelha.

Toronto Chinatown Festival

Today we visited Chinatown to take some shoots from that festival. I've found this old man playing that different (to me) instrument. But the song was very nice. The showers were present either.

Hoje visitamos Chinatown para tomar algumas fotos do festival. Encontrei esse senhor tocando um estranho (para mim) instrumento. Mas a música era bastante agradável. Os chuviscos também estavam presentes.

Taste of Danforth

Today we had a meeting of our Toronto Photographic meet up group. We've choose the Taste of Danforth Festival for shooting. I was really excited for tasting some Greek food once we were at Greek Town. But the taste was very wet and cold. The bad weather didn't give up of ruining the party. Anyways, we have had fun. We were 5 people: Steve (the meet up organizer), Rebecca, D.J., my wife Regina and me. We have had a very nice and fun afternoon together. I hope we meet up again! Hoje nós tivemos uma reunião de nosso grupo de Encontros Fotográficos de Toronto.
Nós escolhemos o festival Sabor de Danforth para fotografar. Eu estava bastante excitado para provar alguma comida grega uma vez que estávamos no centro do bairro grego. Mas o sabor estava molhado e frio. O mau tempo não desistiu de estragar a festa. De qualquer forma nós nos divertimos. Éramos cinco pessoas: Steve (o organizador do encontro), Rebecca, D.J., minha esposa Regina e eu. Tivemos uma tarde muito agradável e divertida juntos. Espero nos reunirmos novamente! Toronto Eaton Centre

Located in the heart of the city, Toronto Eaton Centre is one of the most interesting and exciting shopping experiences you will find anywhere. It's located at the south-west corner of Yonge Street and Dundas Street.

Localizado no coração da cidade, o Toronto Eaton Centre é uma das mais interessantes e fascinantes experiências de compras que você poderia encontrar em qualquer outro lugar. Está localizado na esquina sudoeste das ruas Younge e Dundas.

The flower pattern

We are in summer in Toronto with uncountable flowers around the city. Those one I've found close to my home. They were arranged in a kind of flower wall. Is it beautiful, isn't?

Estamos no verão em Toronto com incontáveis flores espalhadas pela cidade. Essas encontrei perto de minha casa. Elas formavam uma espécie de parede de flores. Bonito, nãe é?

To Serve and Protect

This interesting sculpture is settled at Bay and Grenville St. There is a word written in each side of it, forming this sentence: to serve and protect.

Esta interessante escultura está localizada na esquina das ruas Bay e Grenville. Há uma palavra escrita em cada lado dela formando a frase: para servir e proteger.

The Rickshaw

Toronto as a multi-diverse city has numerous attractions. One of them is the runner-pulled rickshaw. This one is pulled by a woman. The nice young woman is from Czech Republic and her name is Mirka.

Toronto como uma cidade multi-diversa tem inúmeras atrações. Uma delas é o rickshaw. Este é puxado por uma mulher. A agradável jovem é natural da República Tcheca e seu nome é Mirka.

Old City Hall

This magnificent building had took more than a decade under construction more than and 2.5 million dollars. When Toronto's fourth City Hall opened across Bay Street in 1965, Old City Hall became a courthouse for the Ontario government. More info here.

Este magnífico prédio levou mais de uma década para ser construido e consumiu mais de 2.5 milhões de dólares. Quando a quarta prefeitura foi inaugurada na rua Bay em 1965, a prefeitura antiga se tornou uma corte de justiça para o governo de Ontário. Mais informações você encontra aqui.

Turkish Festival ll

This little girl got on to the stage and started performing a kind of dancing. To me was the best part of the party and for her dad too!

Esta garotinha subiu ao palco e começou a executar um tipo de dança. Para mim foi a melhor parte da festa turca e para o pai dela também!

Turkish Festival

Yonge-Dundas Square is the hottest spot in Toronto during the Summer. Plenty of a huge diversity of activities and people. Today I've shot the Turkish Festival. Good song and fun! And I did taste the Turkish coffee too.

Yonge-Dundas Square é o ponto mais efervescente durante o verão em Toronto. Cheio de uma variedade grande de atividades e público. Hoje eu fotografei o Festival Turco. Boa música e diversão. E também provei o café turco.
